first_imgChelsea owner Roman Abramovich reportedly intends to make one more attempt to lure Pep Guardiola to Stamford Bridge.The Daily Telegraph report that the Russian billionaire is still keen to appoint the former Barcelona boss and that Roberto Di Matteo’s chances of being given the job remain remote – despite him leading the club to Champions League glory.Abramovich is tipped to overlook Di Matteo.A number of other papers suggest that Guardiola is tempted to take over at Chelsea, based on his comment that he is looking to be “seduced” back into football.The Daily Star say Abramovich’s representatives are still in talks with Guardiola despite him saying he wants to take a break from the game.Meanwhile, the Daily Mail report that Porto’s in-demand striker Hulk favours a move to Chelsea.The Brazilian agent Teodoro Fonseca said: “For sure Hulk will only leave Porto for a big club and a big league and I can say that we like the Premier League a lot.“At the moment, Chelsea is a club which is more interesting than ever, because they’ve become European champions and are without doubt one of the biggest in Europe.“We know they will need to reinforce themselves as they’ve just lost Drogba and can lose other important players and that perhaps increases the chances of getting closer, but we will only make the step after listening to the Porto board.”Click here for Friday’s Chelsea quizFollow West London Sport on Twitter Find us on Facebooklast_img
