(PHOTO/Agencies)After the international break, the German Bundesliga returns with the first big clash of the season as leaders RB Leipzig hosts defending champions Bayern Munich on Saturday afternoon.Leipzig are top of the standings with a perfect 9 points from three games and Julian Nagelsmann’s side are the only side yet to drop a point this campaign.A 4-0 opening day victory over Union Berlin was followed up by wins over Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengladbach.Leipzig have been without a doubt the best team in the division and are yet to show any signs of slowing down.Striker Timo Werner is firing on all cylinders as he has scored in all his first three games, managing five goals in the process. On Saturday however, Leipzig comes up against their first real test in the form of Bayern Munich who have won all the previous 7 Bundesliga titles.Bayern endured a disappointing start to the season as they drew 2-2 at home to Hertha Berlin. However, they have gone on to win their next two games against Schalke 04 and Mainz, scoring 9 goals in the process and conceding just one. After securing Philip Coutinho on loan from Barcelona, Nico Kovac’s side look set to pursue yet another title but to prove they will have a smooth ride, they need to take care of their early challengers, Leipzig.Loen Goretzka is the only absentee for Bayern while Leipzig are without Kevin Kampl, Hannes Wolf and Taylor Adams.Last season, Bayern took four points off Leipzig including one in the 0-0 draw in the reverse fixture. The other big fixture in the Bundesliga this weekend will pit Borussia Dortmund at home to Bayer Leverkusen.Dortmund started brightly winning both of their opening two games but 3-1 loss to Union Berlin on match-day three casts a huge shadow on their ambitions. As they enter Saturday’s game, they will be hoping the trio of Paco Alcacer, Jadon Sancho and captain Marco Reus are in full flow to lead the Black and Yellows to a third victory of the season. However, it will not come easy as they take on an unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen side.Peter Bosz’s side may have drawn 0-0 at home to Hoffenheim last time out but that will not be a major concern as they are currently enduring their best start to a Bundesliga season in 7 years.Bayern had earlier beaten both Paderborn and Fortuna Dusseldorf and currently sit 4th on 7 points, one ahead of Dortmund.Going into the contest, the visitors are only without finish striker Joel Pohjanpalo while Dortmund will be minus Nico Schulz, Mateu Morey Bauza, Manuel Akanji and Axel Witsel. The last time the two teams met, Dortmund defeated Leverkusen 3-2 at the Signal Iduna Park. The German Bundesliga marks its return on Friday evening with Dusseldorf hosting Wolfsburg at the Merkur Spiel-Arena.The hosts are currently on a two-game losing streak having lost to both Leverkusen and Frankfurt before the international break. They are expected to have a long day as they bid to add a second victory to the one they got on match-day one away to Werder Bremen. They will have have to do so minus 9 first-team players. For Wolfsburg who will also be minus up to 6 first-teamers, they will hoping to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.Oliver Glasner’s side have won two and drawn the other of their first three games and a win on Friday will see them temporarily go top of the table. All the Bundesilga match-day four fixturesFriday, 13-09-2019-Dusseldorf vs Wolfsburg @9:30pmSaturday, 14-09-2019 -Dortmund vs Leverkusen @4:30pm-Mainz vs Hertha Berlin  @4:30pm-Augsburg vs Frankfurt  @4:30pm-Koln vs Monchengladbach  @4:30pm-Union Berlin vs Bremen  @4:30pm-Union Berlin vs Werder Bremen @7:30pmSunday, 15-09-2019-Hoffenheim vs Freiburg @4:30pm-Paderborn vs Schalke 04 @7pmComments last_img
