In third doubles, Dina Hegab and Miranda Ramirez lost 7-6, dropping the tiebreak to concede the doubles point to the Cavaliers.Three singles matches ended in straight sets in favor of the Cavaliers, No. 79 (singles) Rosie Johanson defeated No. 38 (singles) Salazar, 6-3, 6-2 in second singles. In fourth singles, Tritou lost to Chloe Gullickson, 6-1, 6-3. In the fifth singles match, UVA’s Hunter Bleser beat SU’s Hegab, 6-1, 6-3.One Syracuse player won her individual singles match: Miranda Ramirez, in third singles.
